While the rivers are cold, it doesn’t mean the fish aren’t biting. Lots of rainbows are up feeding on the brown eggs. Try targeting slower moving pools, eddys, seams and rock edges. Go small with weighted nymphs or dead drift a streamer. Egg patterns of varied colors are also effective.
