The Catskills Fly Fishing Guide Service is based in Catskill Park on the Esopus Creek. We have over 30 years of fishing the local rivers which is where American Fly Fishing began. Our guides are all New York State licensed, excellent teachers, certified in CPR, and know the rivers like the back of their hand. We customize every trip for your ability but prioritize having a memorable experience to leave you with better fishing knowledge and perhaps some fish pictures to show your friends. We take out groups of all ages (except kids under 15), those who have never fly fished, and experienced anglers.

We will show you the beauty of the Catskills while angling for wild rainbow, brown and brook trout. We recommend 1/2 Days (4 hours) for new anglers and will work with you and the weather to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. Once you have been out of the river in the epic surroundings we are confident this will be a sport you will love to do for years to come.
